Orqelis provides done-for-you business automation services to small and medium businesses in South Africa. For the purposes of the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA), Orqelis is the responsible party for the personal information described in this policy.

We collect the information needed to run the service:

• Account details — your name and email address when you or we create your login.
• Business information — your business name and the details needed to build and run your automations.
• Automation activity — records of what each automation did, so we can show you the results and fix problems.
• Contact details you give us — for example when you book a demo or ask for support.

This website uses a single first-party cookie, and only if you accept it, to count anonymous, aggregated visits: the pages viewed, the referring site, any campaign source, a coarse device type and country. We use no third-party analytics, never store your IP address, and the data cannot identify you personally. You may decline analytics and still use the site; your choice is remembered on your device.

We use personal information to:

• provide, operate and maintain the service;
• build and run the automations you have asked for;
• communicate with you about your account and the service;
• meet legal and accounting obligations.

We do not sell your personal information to anyone.

The service runs on infrastructure provided by third parties acting as operators on our behalf: Supabase (database and authentication), Vercel (application hosting) and Hetzner (the automation engine). These providers may process information outside South Africa; where they do, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is protected to a standard consistent with POPIA.

We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations. Routine automation activity is retained for a limited period and then summarised; you can ask for an export or deletion of your data at any time.

You have the right to:

• access the personal information we hold about you;
• correct or delete it;
• object to how we process it;
• complain to the Information Regulator (South Africa).
